Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Scherokee, a Fortnite lobby bot service operated by a group of developers as a personal project. By accessing or using Scherokee, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our service.

1. Project Disclaimer

Scherokee is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with Epic Games or Fortnite in any way.

2. Account Registration

To use Scherokee, users must create an account using a valid email and password. We use open-source identity management software (Logto) to handle registration and authentication securely.

3. Paid Services

Scherokee offers both one-time and subscription-based premium services, including additional bot slots and addon features. Payments are securely processed through Stripe.

4. Refund Policy

Refunds may be requested within 24 hours of payment, provided the premium feature has been used three (3) times or less. Refund requests should be sent to support@scherokee.net.

5. Acceptable Use

Users must not misuse the platform, including spamming the backend or using the service for illegal, malicious, or disruptive activities. Violation of these rules may result in a suspension or permanent ban of your account without prior notice or explanation.

6. Account Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate your account at any time, for any reason or no reason at all, with or without prior notice. This includes but is not limited to violations of these Terms, suspicious activity, or at our sole discretion.

We are not obligated to disclose the reason for termination or respond to appeals. All decisions are final.

7. Intellectual Property

Users are allowed to use Scherokee’s logo and branding materials, but must always link back to scherokee.net when doing so.

8. Hyperlinking to Our Content

Anyone may link to our homepage, pages, or content as long as the link is not misleading and does not falsely imply sponsorship or endorsement.

9. Privacy and Data

We collect email addresses and passwords during account registration. We do not share user data with third parties. Users are responsible for keeping their credentials secure. If a breach or leak occurs, Scherokee is not liable for any resulting damages or loss of access.

10. Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is." We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we do not make any warranties regarding performance or reliability. Scherokee disclaims all liability for losses, including but not limited to data loss, downtime, or service misuse.

11. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Scherokee, its developers, or operators be held responsible for damages exceeding the amount you paid for the service. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

12. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. A notice will be posted on the site if significant updates occur.

13. Service Availability

We strive to keep Scherokee running smoothly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may experience downtime due to maintenance, updates, technical issues, or force majeure events. We are not liable for any interruptions or data loss resulting from such events.

14. Changes to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. This includes adding or removing features, changing pricing, or shutting down the platform entirely.

15. Age Restrictions

You must be at least 13 years old to use Scherokee. By using the service, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
